What to Expect
Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through various outreach methods
Qualify leads by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Book Fairs
Manage pipeline and maintain accurate records of interactions within the CRM system
Collaborate with the sales team to align strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
What is Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with CRM or sales automation tools
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
Outstanding interpersonal skills for relationship building with peers and customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Demonstrated leadership abilities and qualities in previous roles
Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations
