Position Summary
Sales position at MATHESON, involving selling products to business and industrial establishments or individuals. Responsibilities include visiting customers, demonstrating products, quoting prices, preparing sales contracts, and maintaining customer relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compile lists of prospective customers from various sources such as newspapers, directories, trade shows, and online resources. Travel within assigned territory to call on customers and solicit orders, either in person or via phone. Display or demonstrate products, emphasizing salable features using samples or catalogs. Quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales contracts. Estimate delivery dates based on production and delivery schedules. Prepare business transaction reports and manage expense accounts. Coordinate with inside sales and route sales representatives to update account activities and literature. Coordinate customer training sessions. Enter new customer and sales data into the computer database. Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts. Investigate and resolve customer issues related to welding processes, equipment, and deliveries. Attend trade shows and perform inside sales when needed. Assist with inventory counts and support co-workers and customers with technical welding questions. Assist in collecting outstanding account balances and perform other assigned duties. Work Hours
Full-time position, typically matching customer needs, Monday through Friday. Qualifications

Solve practical problems with limited standardization. Interpret instructions in various formats. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Valid Driver's License Hazardous materials training and certification Education and Experience
