Pay: $2,154.60/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Alexandria, LA on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, medication management, and close observation. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing patients in a telemetry unit. Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring cardiac and telemetry monitoring. Assess, monitor, and interpret cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient condition. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Educate patients and families on care plans, cardiac health, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to provide coordinated patient care. Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards. Qualifications
Current and valid RN license in Louisiana (or compact eligibility). Minimum 1–2 years of recent telemetry or progressive care experience in an acute care setting. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Strong critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills. Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care. COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test. Benefits
