Description:
Must be able to be on call, including weekends and holidays, and flexible to work above standard hours to meet staffing needs.
Utilizes ionizing-radiation producing equipment to administer therapeutic doses of radiation as prescribed by the physician for each patient undergoing a prescribed course of radiotherapy
Maintains treatment equipment and records, monitoring treatment area, and other duties as needed
Accurately delivers a planned course of radiotherapy by administering treatment in a safe manner
Demonstrates how to use Linacs and CT simulator and perform patient treatments
Provides patient education, scheduling and excellent customer relations
Correctly documents and captures charges for procedures
Requirements:
New graduates will be acceptable for initial hire with the understanding that the individual must pass boards within 3 months of hire
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy
