Baptist Health Breast Imaging , we provide compassionate care and high-level imaging services with a focus on early cancer detection. Our Breast Center is led by dedicated breast radiologists and supported by a team of skilled mammographers, breast care nurses, and an entire staff committed to providing excellent care and outcomes. We offer screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, diagnostic breast ultrasounds, and a variety of breast biopsies, ensuring accessibility for our community. Key Responsibilities: As a

Mammography Technologist

at Baptist Health Breast Imaging, your primary responsibilities include: Performing high-quality mammograms using advanced imaging technology, following departmental protocols and ensuring patient safety. Conducting breast imaging procedures, including diagnostic mammograms and breast ultrasound exams, as ordered by licensed providers. Preparing and positioning patients for breast imaging exams, ensuring comfort and care during the process. Collaborating with radiologists and physicians to interpret images and assist in developing patient treatment plans. Assisting in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of breast disease through accurate imaging techniques. Documenting patient information, exam details, and any relevant findings in the electronic health record. Providing compassionate patient care, ensuring clear communication and addressing patient concerns during procedures. Ensuring that all images meet high-quality standards and are available for review by the radiologist. Adhering to all safety protocols, including radiation protection for patients and staff. Requirements:

Completion of an accredited imaging program in radiologic technology. Must hold the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Must obtain post-primary registry in Mammography (M) or be eligible to obtain it within one year of hire. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers. Current Commonwealth of Kentucky Radiation License with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Benefits: Tuition Reimbursement up to $6,000 annually.
