This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with knowledge in the fabrication, assembly, system integration, and testing of hardware. The candidate will be involved in authoring & creating Product Release Documents (PRD), Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), Work Instructions, PPP & BTP packages. Work with and coordinate with Global Supply Chain to move installation packages and related engineering documents through process flow to drive material procurement. Assist in peer reviews of design releases to ensure first time quality. Interface with cross functional internal & external teams and stakeholders critical to system deployment and installation. Oversee and drive progress using metrics and lessons learned. Author and assist in the creation of comprehensive & detailed work instructions for multiple system locations supporting system deployment and success. Position Benefits

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Job Qualifications

You’ll Bring These Qualifications: Manufacturing Engineer:

Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant work experience; Master’s Degree with 0 years of relevant work experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Must have 2 years working experience in a digital manufacturing environment using core systems

Principal Manufacturing Engineer : Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant work experience; Master’s Degree with 3 years of relevant work experience; or PhD with 0 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Must have 3 years working experience in a digital manufacturing environment using core systems

Required for Both Levels: Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

Previous experience working manufacturing engineering on EMD/LRIP/Production Programs

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or in a manufacturing engineering related field

Previous experience in production for a military program

Previous experience on EMD projects

Prior experience with Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM)

Experience working Designs into preproduction & production

Experience with Siemens NX tools, Model based engineering, and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Demonstrated experience using SAP, Windows software packages and other electronic databases

Salary Primary Level Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
