Job Title:
Quality Assurance Engineer
Responsibilities
As Quality Assurance Engineer, he/she will be introduced in Quality Department and will be able to prepare and review the quality documents (procedures, operating instructions…) required by the Company Quality Management System, by ISO 9001 standard and by any other applicable standard on product (e.g. PED, ATEX,…)
He/she will also cooperate with the Quality Manager for the preparation of external audit (Certification Body, Customers…)
Main tasks and responsibilities shall be: To prepare, update, review quality procedures and instructions
To prepare, in cooperation with other departments, the quality control procedures to be applied for the products and/or required by applicable standards (PED, ATEX,….)
To maintain quality records including, but not limited to, the calibration of measurement tools, welding operators' qualifications
Participate and manage, in cooperation with the Quality Manager, to third party inspections audit
Participate with Quality Documentation Supervisor / Quality Manager in the production of the ITP and evaluate the internal PCQ, if required
Pursue Root Cause Analysis and related investigation to help Quality department in case of claims and non-conformities
Cooperate with the Quality Manager for high level meetings and activity from the SXS Group
Relevant Experience
Previous experience in Quality (or Technical) Offices for preparation of quality assurance/quality control procedures and instructions
Requirements
Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Be comfortable multi-tasking while still achieving deadlines
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard and common applied product Standards (e.g. ASME, PED, ATEX, EC1935)
Bachelor’s/master’s in mechanical engineering or scientific disciplines
Good level of English (B2)
