The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Clinician provides clinical interventions tailored to customer-owner needs and prepares clients for participation in learning circles. This position has two levels, with progression based on demonstrated ability to handle increasingly responsible assignments. Child and Family Outpatient Services (CFOS) offers supportive care to individuals, children, and families with behavioral health needs, including resiliency development, parenting, and learning circles. The clinic primarily serves youth aged 3 to 21 years and their families. Qualifications
Master’s degree in behavioral health (Counseling, Psychology, Social Work) OR PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Obtain Alaska Clinical Licensure within four years of hire. Additional Qualifications for Clinician II
Two years of supervised clinical experience for Master’s level; or two years post-graduate experience for PhD/PsyD; or demonstrated proficiency as a Clinician I at SCF. Current Alaska Clinical Licensure. Native Preference
SCF pursues Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training as per P.L. 93-638, with certification required before applicants receive preference. Employee Health Requirements
Compliance with employee health screening and immunizations is mandatory. HCP positions require documentation of immunizations including MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap, and COVID-19 prior to start. Education
Required
