As a maintenance technician you will perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, machinery, including fabrication to support production and plant facilities. This role coordinates heavily with others within the company, as necessary. This is a role that requires determining the priorities based on the feedback from the building managers. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. This includes checking fluid levels, replacing filters, cleaning and lubricating moving parts, and performing any other detailed tasks to maintain compliance. Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Report any significant issues with supervisors or management to ensure timely resolutions. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or any other issues before they escalate into major problems. Perform necessary repairs on equipment and systems to maintain operational efficiency and equipment reliability. Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate with maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. This may involve training new technicians and sharing best practices. Performs maintenance tasks and repairs on our equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery and as required by production demands for service. Qualifications/Skills
Requirements: Must be able to meet safety/physical requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Some experience working with computers. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, and work with voltages up to 575V. Prefer: Experience with boilers Experience with chillers Experience working at a manufacturing facility for industrial equipment. Safety/Physical requirements
Capable of lifting/moving parts weighing 50 lbs. Must pass background check and drug test. Requires bending, stooping, and standing. Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day. Must be able to access manufacturing and assembly areas on the shop floor in order to inspect units, investigate problems and/or potential solutions to problems, and to prove out potential solutions to problems. Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc. Other Duties
