Job Description - Director of Ambulatory Infusion Services Hendersonville (25036079) The Director is responsible for providing leadership and operational oversight of Florida Hospital Ambulatory Infusion Services, which includes four sites. This role involves implementing strategic direction for care delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and achieving financial objectives through effective management of associated metrics. The Director facilitates communication among nursing, medical staff, and other hospital departments, and is accountable for continuous evaluation and improvement of quality and safety standards. Additionally, the Director leads patient safety and quality initiatives across both inpatient and ambulatory areas. This position requires adherence to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accrediting body standards. An analyzes and monitors compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Other duties as assigned. Provides leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operation of Ambulatory Infusion Service sites, utilizing evidence-based practice pathways and clinical standards. Demonstrates competency in leadership standards, including communication, organization, production, team building, innovation, staff development, and role modeling. Develops and implements policies and procedures related to the care of infusion patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Participates in system-wide committees as a representative for Infusion Services and collaborates with leaders to align service line with key performance indicators. Develops annual operating and capital budgets to meet program needs and applies cost containment principles. Develops and implements short-term and long-range plans for the delivery of infusion services in collaboration with various departments and medical staff. Participates in process and performance improvement activities, assisting in the development of action plans to improve patient care and essential processes. Serves as a community resource for oncology and infusion-related information and collaborates with community relations to disseminate information. Plans for workforce resources, including human, facilities, and equipment, to meet organizational needs and promotes team building and employee engagement. Oversees the education plan for Infusion Centers and ensures the development and delivery of programs and policies consistent with regulatory standards. Qualifications
Bachelors of Nursing Required Master;s of Nursing Preferred 3+ Work Experience Required Registered Nurse (RN) In accordance with state requirements. Required Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Preferred Organization
