This position requires knowledge of daily residential mortgage servicing processes, ability to independently problem solve, and ability to provide support and direction to personnel.
Supervisory Responsibility
The Residential Servicing Manager will oversee a group of Residential Loan Servicers and their daily functions. The manager will also identify training needs as well as support and develop expertise in the department.
Interact with and support credit union partners
Monthly reporting to credit unions on their loan portfolio
Monthly reporting and interacting with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHLB on their loan portfolio
Quality Control of files flowing into servicing
Researching ways to become more efficient as a servicing department
Providing and maintaining great member service
Other job duties as assigned
Requirements Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5 years of experience in the residential mortgage servicing industry
Applicable Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge in the use of personal computers, word processing, email, spreadsheets and other related applications. Knowledge of FICS servicing platform a plus.
Knowledge as it relates to mortgage servicing of all investor guidelines and loan programs including but not limited to FNMA, FHA, VA as well as mortgage insurance companies.
Knowledge of basic business office equipment including (but not limited to) typewriter, fax machine, calculator and telephone
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common, technical and industry specific documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from credit union partner employees, credit union members, and regulators.
Ability to define problems, collect data, and resolve issues
Must be able to manage time-based projects
Must be able to multi-task
