The Norooz Clinic Foundation is a non-profit mental health clinic located in Santa Ana, CA. Norooz is a Farsi word meaning new day and a new beginning. At the Norooz Clinic Foundation, we strive to assist those who walk through our doors with their journey of discovery to find their new day, their rebirth, through mental health and wellness.
At our clinic, we treat anxiety, depression, marital dissatisfaction, anger, sexual dysfunction, and addiction. Our clinicians also specialize in treating traumas, relationship problems, domestic violence victims, grief, and loss. To ensure affordability for all, we maintain sliding-scale fees, as well as offer pro bono therapy sessions and free training to our clients.
We are looking for a Mental Health Therapist with a current MFT license to provide mental health services to our clients.
Reports to: Executive Director
Responsibilities
Provide individual/ couple/ family therapy on a consistent basis with assigned clients, utilizing bio-psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, according to company policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care. Conduct psychosocial evaluation and provide therapeutic interventions to clients as needed. Evaluate the individual and family systems as well as assess the client’s functioning within work, family, and routines of daily living and identify areas needing continued support resources and treatment in order to assist clients. Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. Understand and fully comply with all HIPAA Regulations and consistently guard all PHI. Create treatment plan goals with clients which follow procedures, adhere to code of ethics, meet legal clinical practice protocols, and maintain professional standards. Attend and participate in all training, meetings, and supervision groups as required by the Executive Director. Other duties as needed. Qualifications
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to satisfactorily complete job: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling or other Behavioral Sciences required. Must maintain current licensure (LMFT) Direct work experience providing therapy-based services to children, adolescents, and families is a plus! Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and a compassionate nature. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Interest in treating the underserved, low-income communities is highly desired. Able to take initiative and self-direct. Pay Rate
