Position Summary... Provides comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and implementing other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations. Drives sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, developing cross-functional relationships, and assessing economic trends and demographics. Models and enforces customer service techniques to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company standards. Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to serve as good community members. Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety and quality assurance reviews, and developing action plans. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through training, mentoring, and performance feedback. Maintains confidentiality of information and records as required by policies and regulations. Manages pharmacy operations, conducts associate meetings, ensures operations align with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, and documents changes and new ideas. Oversees inventory flow, monitors inventory processes, and addresses related issues. Demonstrates financial management skills by interpreting financial data, managing budgets, and ensuring financial performance aligns with strategic goals. Ensures a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy, and promotes reporting and transparency of errors. Creates a compliant environment, actively trains and guides associates on compliance initiatives, and monitors adherence to billing, HIPAA, and SOPs. Builds high-performing teams, fosters a workplace of belonging, and maintains high standards of integrity and ethics.
