Provides comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and administering other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes/regulations. Drives sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting, sales development, cross-functional relationship building, and assessing economic trends and demographics. Models, enforces, and provides direction and guidance to associates on customer service approaches to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines and standards. Oversees implementation of and participation in community outreach programs and encourages associates to serve as good members of the community. Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing, interpreting reports, and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls; developing and implementing action plans; and guiding execution of company programs and strategic initiatives. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing performance feedback, recognizing contributions, and promoting a culture of belonging. Maintains confidentiality of information, documentation, and records as required by company policies and local/state/federal guidelines. Manages Pharmacy Operations, conducts associate meetings, ensures adherence to HIPAA, SOPs, QA policies, standards, and procedures, and shares information related to changes in products, procedures, and new approaches with associates and managers. Oversees inventory flow, monitors processes, and addresses issues to ensure proper ordering and inventory levels. Manages finances by interpreting financial data, overseeing budgets, ensuring assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses are accounted for, and monitoring market trends to identify opportunities. Fosters a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; communicates quality expectations; ensures counseling and documentation related to health services; and leads efforts to improve team knowledge and patient safety. Implements and monitors compliance initiatives, including HIPAA adherence and SOP execution; uses auditing processes to identify issues and drive improvements. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). Pharmacy license by job entry date. Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association-sponsored). Preferred qualifications
U.S. pharmacy-related experience. Location
