Position Summary
Provides comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations and administering other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes/regulations.
What you'll do
Drives sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting sales; developing and maintaining cross-functional relationships and assessing economic trends and demographics.
Models, enforces and provides direction and guidance to Associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs, complaints and issues are resolved within company guidelines and standards.
Oversees the implementation of and participates in community outreach programs and encourages Associates to serve as a good member of the community.
Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, and overseeing safety, operational and quality assurance reviews.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates by selecting training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing performance feedback, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
Ensures confidentiality of information, documentation and assigned records as required by company policies and local, state and federal guidelines.
Manages Pharmacy Operations, conducts Associate meetings to address needs and issues related to pharmacy products or services and to share information related to new initiatives; ensures alignment with HIPAA, SOP QA policies, standards and procedures.
Documents information on changes in pharmaceutical products and procedures and shares information with Associates and Managers; oversees inventory flow; regularly monitors inventory flow processes; identifies items to be ordered; ensures proper execution of inventory flow processes; monitors and evaluates facility to address inventory flow problems.
Manages finances by interpreting and analyzing financial data, managing budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with business needs, and complying with company financial policies and procedures.
Ensures patient care quality and safety by creating a culture of patient care, communicating expectations, ensuring counseling and documentation for new therapies or required items, and identifying areas for improvement with action plans.
Promotes reporting and transparency of errors and supports root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Compliance-focused execution: implements and guides compliance initiatives, trains associates, ensures HIPAA and SOP adherence, and uses auditing processes to identify and address issues.
Fosters respect for the individual, builds high-performing teams, and promotes belonging; acts with integrity and serves customers by applying Walmart values and EDLP/EDLC principles.
Strives for excellence by driving continuous improvements, adopting new technologies and skills, and supporting others through change.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). Pharmacy license (by job entry date). Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

U.S. pharmacy related experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $112,000.00-$197,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include regional pay zone or complex structure depending on location and external factors.
