Submerged Arc Welders

for projects located in and around

Olean, NY.

This is a

second shift

opportunity with a pay range of

up to $35/hour

based on experience plus

$125/Per Diem

to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a

Job Scope

Perform Sub Arc Welding of Steel Components for bridges, buildings, and industrial facilities

Operate Sub Arc LT7 and Semi-Auto SAW Machines

Perform 3G tests in SMAW and FCAW

Complete bend and X-ray weld tests

Maintain tools and equipment and report repair needs

Follow welding procedures and safety standards to ensure quality and compliance

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Welder

Must be AWS D1.5 proficient

Experience with Sub Arc Welding processes

Able to Pass a Weld Test

Able to read and work from blueprints and shop drawings

Standard PPE

Reliable Means of Transportation

Prior bridge welding experience is preferred
