The Design Team supports Amplio Systems in selling, installing, and supporting Audio, Video, Lighting, Network, and Acoustical Systems. The Design Engineer will utilize various software tools to create design documents, quotes, and renderings that communicate the project’s design intent and details throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include engineering complete working systems, selecting equipment, and modeling various systems within appropriate software to meet client needs. This ranges from Acoustic and Speaker Systems to House Lighting, including calculations of electrical/heat loads, rigging weights, and assembly. The information is then translated into project drawings for communication with other trades. Interfacing with construction teams (Architects, General Contractors, Structural Engineers, Electrical Engineers) and clients is a normal part of the project lifecycle. The Design Engineer is responsible for producing a working AVL system design and associated construction and functional drawings to ensure a fully operational system that meets customer requirements. Experience Required: 3-5 years of experience in Audio, Video, and Lighting Systems Design.
