Full-Time Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead daily operations at our Ontario, CA manufacturing site. This site plays a critical role in serving regional customer demand, and the Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, inventory, shipping/receiving, safety, and quality control. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong sense of ownership, lean mindset, and the ability to operate autonomously while collaborating with off-site leadership. The ideal candidate will be an organized problem solver who can balance daily execution with continuous improvement and safety culture leadership. Key Responsibilities

Lead all daily production activities, ensuring schedule adherence and OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) performance. Champion safety adherence and improvements across all operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA standards. Manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels and maintain accurate SAP transactions. Generate and close batch tickets, ensuring accurate documentation, traceability, and material reconciliation. Supervise and coordinate shipping, receiving, and quality control processes. Provide direct daily leadership to the site team, including training, task delegation, and performance feedback. Promote and implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance workplace organization. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; lead 5S, safety audits, and risk mitigation initiatives. Communicate regularly with the off-site Regional Manager and cross-functional partners (supply chain, customer service, quality). Monitor daily KPIs and initiate corrective actions as needed to support customer demand and service levels. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role. Proven experience improving or managing safety systems, behaviors, and compliance. Strong understanding of inventory management, production scheduling, and order fulfillment. Experience with lean manufacturing tools and practices (5S, visual management, standard work, etc.). Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation standards. Comfortable using ERP systems (SAP experience preferred). Effective communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and comfortable operating with limited on-site supervision. What You’ll Bring
