Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Hardware and Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team supporting a tactical edge program in Aurora, Colorado. The selected candidate will have experience applying electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles to components and systems. Responsibilities will include decomposing system level requirements and developing acceptance criteria for verification for compute, datacenter, environmental, and antenna systems. The candidate will support the design, test, modification, assembly, and integration of prototype electromechanical systems supporting RF antennas as part of a larger system infrastructure. A successful candidate will: Utilize sound technical writing to decompose system level requirements and provide presentations for customer change request briefings and discussions.

Understand network architectures at a WAN and LAN level and integrate a variety of SATCOM into a system architecture.

Apply technical knowledge of mechanical and electronics principles to provide context to documented equipment failures in relation to overall system reliability.

Attend meetings with government employees and other contractor teams, demonstrating proficiency and initiative.

Apply industry best practices as a system integrator for material handling, safety, and configuration management.

Basic Qualifications 12+ Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's degree in STEM; 10+ Years with a completed Master's; OR 8+ Years with a completed PhD in STEM.

Must have Active/Final TS/SCI security clearance at time of application.

Experience with the design, installation, integration, operation, maintenance, and repair of ground support systems.

System-level test experience with antenna/ground infrastructure hardware.

Previous deployment experience supporting the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community is highly desirable.

SATCOM system experience.

Preferred Qualifications Design of outdoor enclosures.

Experience with HVAC Units and power distribution equipment.

Practical EW/RF systems knowledge gained through design, construction, and tactical communications system experience.

Salary Range:
