Director of Care Services

Director of Care Services
provides enterprise-level leadership for Guardian Care’s personal care and structured family caregiving services. This executive leader is accountable for strategy, operations, compliance, financial performance, and innovation within the Care Services division. The Senior Director will oversee a multi-layered leadership team ( Supervisors, Care Managers, Coordinators, and Coaches) and serve as a thought partner to the executive team in scaling Guardian Care’s impact, driving cross-functional excellence . Key Responsibilities: Strategic & Organizational Leadership: · Define the long-term vision and growth strategy for Care Services in alignment with Guardian Care’s mission and organizational goals. · Serve as a senior advisor to the COO and executive team, providing insights into regulatory trends, market shifts, and innovations in care delivery. · Represent Care Services in executive forums, board discussions, and external partnerships. Operational Excellence & Compliance · Provide executive oversight of caregiver onboarding, training, evaluation, and regulatory compliance across all service lines. · Ensure all operations meet or exceed federal, state, and Medicaid program requirements, as well as Guardian Care’s internal standards. · Establish scalable systems and policies that support quality, safety, and compliance. · Lead, inspire, and mentor a multi-tiered team of supervisors, managers, coordinators, and coaches. · Build leadership capacity within the department to enable growth and succession planning. · Foster a culture of accountability and transparency . Cross-Functional Partnership · Collaborate closely with Community Engagement, Billing, Compliance, and Technology teams to drive cross-departmental efficiency and innovation. · Serve as a senior escalation point for complex care cases and programmatic challenges. · Oversee interdepartmental coordination to eliminate bottlenecks and streamline service delivery. · Own the financial performance of Care Services, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. · Drive key revenue-impacting outcomes such as reducing onboarding-to-billable lag and optimizing caseload efficiency. · Track, analyze, and report executive-level KPIs related to quality, compliance, efficiency, and financial impact . Key Experience and Competencies : · 1 2-15 years of progressive leadership in healthcare operations, case management, or related fields. · Proven leadership experience managing teams, coaching performance, and driving accountability. · Experience working in a regulated healthcare environment; familiarity with Medicaid programs preferred. · Exceptional strategic thinking, operational design, and problem-solving skills. · Skilled communicator with experience navigating high-pressure and cross-functional environments. · Proven ability to balance empathy and accountability while driving measurable outcomes. · Strong t echnological fluency with tools like Microsoft Office, scheduling software, CRM/EMR platforms, and mobile apps. · Ability to balance empathy with standards; sets clear expectations and models disciplined communication. · Adaptability to change with a mindset of continuous improvement. · US work authorization (Required) · Must have your own computer and high-speed internet.
