RENTAL MANAGER

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring a Rental Manager in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The Rental Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the rental store/stores to ensure a safe, efficient, and profitable operation, supporting the rental store/stores and corporate objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. Requirements for the Rental Manager position include: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Proven sales ability Excellent organizational and attention to detail Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Leadership and supervisory experience Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks Capability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Frequent travel, including overnight stays Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Commitment to promoting a positive customer experience Upholding Carter Machinery's Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, and Teamwork Physical requirements include sitting, talking, hearing, standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, and focus adjustment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Starting Compensation Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually Salary may vary based on experience, skills, education, location, and other factors. Compensation may include performance-based incentives.
