oversees all warehousing operations, including receiving, product put-away, deliveries, e-commerce processing, replenishments, and inventory management. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of products while leading supervisory staff and maintaining overall facility responsibility. Additionally, the manager plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and safety initiatives within the facility. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and provides ongoing coaching and feedback to direct reports Recognizes high performance and enforces company policies on safety, attendance, and professionalism in collaboration with HR and management Oversees employee training on inbound, delivery, and inventory procedures, including SOPs and equipment use Develops cross-training plans and ensures adequate staffing coverage in coordination with supervisors Oversees inbound and outbound operations—including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, loading, and fulfillment—ensuring alignment with KPIs and timely execution Maintains facility organization, dock cleanliness, and accurate completion of monthly inspections in the digital system Leads continuous improvement efforts and coordinates facility maintenance, promptly reporting issues to management and corporate Conducts walkthroughs with corporate representatives, ensures timely internal communication, and verifies PIE training and certification for all team members Partners with supervisors to lead safety initiatives, promote a safety-first culture, and ensure policy compliance through training and observations Identifies and addresses safety risks, escalates concerns when necessary, and ensures timely reporting of incidents and safety data Reviews inspection reports, implements improvements, and maintains safe, functional equipment by promptly resolving hazards Manages delivery routes and communicates exceptions to relevant stakeholders Oversees maintenance, certification, and rental coordination for Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE) Ensures driver training compliance and maintains accurate operator certification records Ensures inbound freight is processed accurately within three business days and in compliance with SOPs for Bills of Lading, damage documentation, and freight counts Reports exceptions such as shortages or damages per company procedures and communicates shipment delays or issues to management Maintains alignment between system and physical item locations Oversees timely stock put-away and replenishment Performs consolidation tasks and resolves negative location discrepancies Enforces SOPs for accurate picking, staging, labeling, and product integrity prior to loading Verifies transfer documentation, loading accuracy, and monitors the in-process queue Manages barcode printers and maintains label supply inventory Maintains proficiency in company systems for data entry, communication, and routine administrative tasks Performs other duties as assigned, with flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and responsibilities Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience 6+ years of experience in warehousing, supply chain, or related operations 3+ years in a supervisory or team lead role within a warehouse or distribution environment Experience with ISO quality systems, LEAN, and Six Sigma principles Background in manufacturing and/or distribution with hands-on experience in ERP and Traffic Management Systems (TMS) Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Physical Demands & Work Environment
This full-time position may require 40+ hours per week and involves regular physical activity, including: Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs. Operation of forklifts and material handling equipment for extended periods (up to 6 hours daily) Routine bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and use of hands, arms, and feet for equipment operation Periods of sitting, standing, walking, and twisting throughout the shift Visual demands include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, along with depth perception and focus adjustment What We Offer
