Operates plant equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, generators, compressors, vacuum, medical gas, fire pump, fire alarm, building controls, and many other building infrastructure systems. Responsibilities
Operate plant equipment including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, generators, compressors, vacuum, medical gas, fire pump, fire alarm, building controls, and other building infrastructure systems. Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
High School or GED. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English (job-related instruction). Must be able to pass skills assessment for this level or above. First Grade Stationary Engineers license required. Work Experience (Years and Area):
Four years experience operating a central plant preferred, including ability to troubleshoot complex plant operations and maintenance problems. Management Experience (Years and Area): Equipment Operated:
Valid Texas Drivers License preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract) Writing / Composing (Correspondence / Reports) Other Skills
Analytical Mathematics P.C. Work Schedule
Flexible Overtime Other Requirements
Ability to keep records of activities performed. Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings. Able to calculate and interpret quantities using standard measuring devices.
