Registered Nurse – ICU Travel Position Location: Redlands, CA Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12s Days Pay: $2,422.80/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Redlands, CA on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in ICU nursing, adaptable, and committed to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct and continuous care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and infusion pumps, ensuring timely interventions as needed. Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans. Assist with emergency procedures such as code responses and advanced airway management. Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes. Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and evidence-based ICU practices. Qualifications Current and valid RN license in California (or compact eligibility). Minimum 1–2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in an acute care setting. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); CCRN preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills. Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care. COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
