Support specifying HMI/software features and manufacturing equipment

Design ladder logic and relay logic
•
PLC programming RSlogix5000, FactoryTalk View
•
Layout detailing and subassembly op panels
•
Bill of material and selection of component
•
System interfacing, power calculation, sizing of cable wires
•
Testing, start-up, debugging, and trouble shooting
•
\*Support upgrading current assembly lines, machinery, jigs, fixtures to improve
•
Process control (error proofing)
•
User-friendliness on Human Machine Interface and self-diagnostics

Data-collection

Start-up/setting instructions

Database Development

Support engineering department in development of control units for our sunroofs and the interfacing to the car

Support engineering department with programming of IRS testing equipment

Enhance knowledge of electronics/control systems etc. within IRS/USA

Support MIS department on industrial computers and associated hardware

The control engineer will be the specialist for electronics/PLC and robot software for IRS/USA

Quality lead-time and cost control for each task assigned

Programming, debugging and startup of new automated assembly machinery, robots and Human-Machine-Interfaces

Write/change documentation for start-up/setting calibration of machinery
•
Continuous improvement actions (Kaizen) to optimize processes of the current machinery park by improving Human-Machine-Interface, adding error proofing, vision, and debugging. This is needed reduce WIP, down time, wasteful scrap and rework.
•
Support maintenance department in troubleshooting, solving machine breakdowns etc.
