Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Quality Engineer Asc. In this role, you will analyze business & technical requirements to create process designs, support & perform software development testing, and execute root cause analysis & corrective action activities in support of digital transformation projects. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Data Science. Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as metallic machining, composite layup, and/or aerospace/heavy equipment/automotive assembly. Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. Ability to travel. Ability to work on-site a minimum of 2 days per week. Desired Skills
Effective communication skills, i.e., written, oral, listening and technical writing. Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration. Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products. Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex. Familiar with computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), manufacturing planning, and/or metrology software. Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement. Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management. Security Clearance
