: Mechanical Engineering Technician Location : San Diego, CA Duration : 12 Months Contract Total Hours/week : 40.00 1 st
shift Description: The Engineering Technician will perform the following duties: Assist Engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes Operate and maintain test equipment Use typical hand tools to build and set-up equipment using drawings and other documentation Use complex measurement equipment to collect and record data Execution of designed test protocol and conduct testing Works with team to organize lab functions & test equipment Notifies manager upon recognition of factors that may affect project Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma / GED A combination of equivalent education and experience or a minimum of training beyond high school or secondary school in a technical discipline with more than 2 years relevant experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity of
electro-mechanical devices. Proficiency with personal computers Experience using MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures Good organizational skills Good communication skills Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to follow directions and effectively execute written and verbal instructions Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Experience working in cross-functional teams Experience using test equipment such as an
