Summary of Work Performed: Under the supervision of a manager or peer, the Manufacturing Engineering Resource Programmer IV serves as a subject matter expert in designing manufacturing resources. This includes developing Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) NC programs, Manufacturing CAD (MCAD) tools and fixtures, loft patterns, and operational models with 2D drawings. Candidates should have knowledge of shop production and processing operations, and may lead, mentor, and train team members. Work Responsibilities: Analyze engineering drawings, models, bills of materials, technical specifications, quality documents, Bell process frameworks, and departmental procedures to perform assigned tasks. Develop MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing planning. Support manufacturing operations with process liaison services, utilizing existing MCAD models and drawings. Create and maintain tooling and fixture definitions for manufacturing, including MCAD and legacy manual designs. Execute and maintain CAM programs and operator instructions for NC equipment. Develop loft MCAD models, flat patterns, and digital tooling programs. Possess working knowledge of NC programming, lofting, engineering, tool design, manufacturing, and planning processes. Apply GD&T and aerospace tolerances concepts effectively. Assist in producibility assessments and maintain accurate records of work schedules and progress. Meet company standards for cost, schedule, and quality to ensure competitiveness. Provide technical support to procurement and suppliers as needed. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Leverage extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge to train, guide, and validate production engineering activities. Participate in training and competency assessments to stay current with technological advancements. Educational and Experience Requirements: Four years of college education or eight years of relevant experience in the aircraft industry, demonstrating proficiency in GD&T and aerospace tolerances. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Position involves handling information subject to ITAR regulations.
