Education Bachelor's Degree Job Description Muller Engineering is seeking qualified candidates for its Transportation Team at the Design Engineer level. As a Design Engineer on our Transportation Team, you will play a crucial role in designing transportation facilities that shape the landscape. From interstates and interchanges to urban arterials and rural roadways, we are seeking candidates who want to work in a creative and collaborative environment to successfully deliver Muller’s numerous transportation projects throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Muller Engineering Company is located in Lakewood, CO, where team members have the opportunity to collaborate in person. Our employees follow a hybrid work schedule, with majority of employees based throughout Colorado’s Front Range. We welcome applicants from across the continental United States, with a preference for those located in Colorado or willing to relocate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create designs for a wide range of transportation facilities, from interstates and interchanges to urban arterials, rural roadways, and multimodal facilities. Collaborate with mid-level and senior engineers to prepare studies, reports, and design packages for diverse transportation design and planning projects. Take full ownership of projects, from inception to completion, ensuring their success. Conduct field observation work when necessary. Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university, Master’s Degree is a plus. 0-2 years of experience in transportation engineering design. Strong written and oral communication skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational skills. A passion for personal and professional growth within a supportive team environment, working towards designs that align with our clients' project objectives. Familiarity with MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other applicable transportation engineering software engineering is a plus. Proficiency of and experience with Microsoft Office products is a plus. Hydraulics and/or traffic engineering experience is a plus. Other duties as assigned. Required License or Certification: Engineer Intern (EI) in Colorado or other state Base salary range for this position is:70,000.00/yr - 85,000.00/yrdependent on individual education, qualifications, experience, and other factors.
