We are looking for an Industrial Automation Specialist to join our Rexel Automation Solutionsteam in Broken Arrow, OK! Summary:

The Industrial Automation Specialist position is responsible for the growth of sales and customer application pre-sales and post-sales support for a specific group(s) of automation products and services. Responsibilities

Develop and implement the Industrial Control and Smart Components portion of the annual business plan in conjunction with Rockwell Automation and Rexel Leadership. Responsible for achieving the Smart Components sales goals identified in the annual planning process. Serve as the focal point for all communication between Rockwell Automation and Rexel on Intelligent Device Products. Launch new Industrial Control and Smart Components Products to Rexel sales personnel, including product training, competency with demo equipment, and target account identification with sales personnel. Promote Industrial Control and Smart Components participation at local trade shows, customer seminars, and other Rexel promotions to increase customer awareness of Rockwell Automation capabilities. Ensure the general sales force (inside and outside) has a base level of Industrial Control and Smart Components expertise; implement local training programs as needed. Establish metrics to track the local success of launches and promotional programs; take corrective action to maximize effectiveness. Provide feedback to Rockwell Automation Intelligent Devices Business Leaders regarding technical and commercial information, new products, promotions, competition, and assistance when required. Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offerings; develop sales strategies, promotions, programs, and plans for sales growth. Develop annual performance goals, objectives, and sales action plans; prepare periodic sales funnel and weekly sales reports. Provide technical support for internal and external customers via on-site visits, phone, and email; this includes troubleshooting, locating technical documentation and specifications, product selection, and other requested activities. Establish relationships with sales and customers to understand sales potential; ascertain customer needs by visits, phone, and other research. Work with sales to establish joint strategies and activities; provide expert knowledge to Inside Sales to facilitate quoting, order entry, and order expediting. Create and present technical and commercial training for internal and external customers; describe or demonstrate products to customers. Follow up on all business leads assigned by management, marketing, technical department, or supplier partners. Acquire, use, and continuously develop personal technical knowledge; provide quotations, proposals, or estimates of prices, scope of work, terms, and delivery. Work with prospective customers to move projects through the sales cycle to conclusion; properly prepare for sales calls and events. Collaborate with Purchasing on inventory of high-tech products and identify potential obsolescence problems. Other duties as assigned. Marketing & Sales Skills

Strong presentation skills in group and individual settings. Able to promote the value-add of Rockwell Automation products in competitive situations. Strong arbitration skills to listen, communicate, and gain consensus. Ability to understand market conditions, competitive forces, determine market share, and identify growth opportunities. Ability to define and grow new markets for emerging product technologies. Ability to utilize your digital brand as a method of increasing sales within the territory. Qualifications

A four-year engineering or technical degree or appropriate experience. Ability to identify and demonstrate technology solutions for customer applications. Core competency for the current technology related to Rockwell Automation-Standard & Industrial Control Products. Ability to manage a project including pull-through business. Willingness and desire to participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in product and complimentary product areas. Valid driver\'s license for region of business operation with a good driving record. Additional Information

Physical Demands: Sit, stand, walk, use hands, stoop/kneel/crouch, climb/balance, talk/hear/sense constantly or frequently as described. Weight and Force Demands: Up to 10 pounds occasionally; up to 25 pounds none; up to 50 pounds none.
