Job Description
The Anatomy Lab Specialist supports anatomy education at the ISU-Meridian Skaggs Treasure Valley Anatomy and Physiology Labs (TVAPL) by preparing anatomical specimens, assisting with general lab operations, and providing laboratory-based instruction. The Anatomy Lab Specialist will join a diverse team of dedicated lab staff at TVAPL, a shared resource facility supporting health science education in Southwest Idaho and the surrounding region. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship at this time. Key Responsibilities
Actively participate in laboratory-based human anatomy teaching. Prepare human anatomical specimens through skilled dissection. Assist in providing supervision of laboratory assistants, students, and volunteers. Support general lab operations including inventory management, specimen care, and specimen tracking. Support surgical training events and community outreach programs. Assist with the cleanliness and upkeep of the laboratories. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in anatomy or a related field and at least 1 year of teaching experience. Human anatomical dissection experience. Interest in expanding skills in dissection, teaching, and/or lab operations. Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and education levels. Demonstrated commitment to safe laboratory operations. Preferred Qualifications
Master or Doctoral degree (PhD) in anatomy or a related field. Experience in lab-based teaching, preferably human anatomy. Experience with anatomy laboratory maintenance and care of anatomical donors. Experience with student or employee supervision. Familiarity with Bioskills labs or surgical training. Experience with online teaching or distance education. Comfortable with and/or willing to learn laboratory-integrated instructional technology. Additional Information

Salary will be between $55,000 and $59,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
