CT MRI Technologist — Job Number 25036809. CT MRI Technologist performs imaging on neuro and body scans for patients from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific AdventHealth parameters. Transmits images for diagnostic interpretation and maintains the hospital computer system with progress of exams. The CT/MRI technologist participates in outstanding customer service and upholds AdventHealth principles, applying independent judgement in imaging procedures that require ionizing radiation for CT, X-ray, and MR examinations. Under general supervision, imaging neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following AdventHealth parameters. Transmit images for diagnostic interpretation and update the hospital information system with exam progress. Maintain excellent customer service and uphold AdventHealth values. Perform a variety of technical scanning procedures that require independent judgement and initiative in applying ionizing radiation for CT, X-ray, and MR procedures. Performs all exams using AdventHealth CT, MRI, and X-Ray protocols. Uses AH policy for proper patient identification prior to exams. Educates patients about exams. Screens patients for contrast allergies and completes proper screening forms. Completes all exams in a timely manner, maintains workflow, minimizes idle time, and communicates post-exam discharge information. Performs all imaging procedures and operates equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors. Demonstrates knowledge to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary. Properly screens patients of childbearing age and minimizes radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers. Practices infection control standards, uses appropriate PPE and disinfectants, and maintains a clean, organized room. Performs QA on scanners. Qualifications

Associate Degree from an accredited radiologic technology program — Required Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology — Preferred 1+ Year Work Experience — Required 3+ Years Work Experience — Preferred (MR) ARRT — Magnetic Resonance — Required (R) ARRT — Radiographer — Required BLS — Basic Life Support — Required General Radiographer License — Required
