Our client, a leading provider of mechanical and HVAC services, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the daily financial operations of a growing organization. This hands‑on role will manage the accounting team, ensure accurate reporting, and support leadership in driving financial performance and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage the month‑end and year‑end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and project management teams to monitor job costing and profitability.
• Support external audits, banking relationships, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen internal controls, and improve financial visibility.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and growth.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA a plus).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of construction or service industry accounting practices preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
