Summary
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator primarily provides support for the Talent Acquisition efforts and general administrative support to other HR functions within St. Vincent de Paul. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for the full onboarding life cycle; communication and collection of all necessary onboarding documentation, new hire support for HRIS, internal communication and support for technology and department setup, as well as new hire support. The position will provide additional recruitment efforts and HR support with documentation and organizational compliance of policies and procedures.
Primary Duties
Talent Acquisition
Lead onboarding for all new hires within the organization including documentation, HRIS setup, and other new hire needs prior to their first day.
Support the Human Resources team during New Employee Orientation to ensure all onboarding documents are collected, distributed, and retained for compliance.
Responsible for New Hire pre-boarding appointments to collect all relevant HR and program paperwork including I-9, background checks, reference checks, and all other necessary document collection, verification, and retention.
Ensure that each department is ready for the new hire: ensure PC, email and phone, parking information and IDs are available and ready for new hire upon the start date.
Assist with new hire orientation.
Responsible for generating and distributing bi-weekly New Hire communication to appropriate managers, IT and payroll.
Support departmental recruitment efforts through the interview life-cycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, phone interviews, interview scheduling, offer extension, and onboarding.
Provide recruitment support with scheduling and keeping accurate applicant records.
Human Resources
Maintain SVDP organizational charts and distribute to necessary leadership as directed.
Create and maintain internal employee communication, including position status changes, promotions & transfers, pay changes, and other employee correspondence.
Responsible for creating, organizing, and updating electronic personnel records and documentation, including auditing files to ensure completeness and compliance.
Support Sr. HR Generalist and HR Generalist with HR related projects as necessary.
Assist with special projects as directed by the CPO.
Secondary Duties
Maintain organized network files and work area so that others may easily access essential information.
Uphold the vision, mission, and values of St. Vincent de Paul.
Assist with and attend special events held by the Center and St. Vincent de Paul as necessary.
Help to organize and attend meetings.
Support a welcoming and positive environment for employees.
Other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
Qualifications
High School Diploma and 2 years’ human resources or professional office experience, required.
Associate’s Degree, preferred.
Experience working with an HRIS, preferred.
Very strong computer skills, including demonstrated competencies in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information and be able to escalated matters as needed.

LIGHT WORK: Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. It involves sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing/pulling of arm/or leg controls.
