MRG Exams
Overview
We are looking for a licensed audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The veteran files the claim before seeing you; you will review the medical records uploaded into a computer portal, conduct Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric tests, complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal, and provide the medical evidence required for the VA to decide benefits. This is an in‑person, part‑time position (2–3 days per week) with no evenings, on‑call or weekend work.
Responsibilities
Conduct Maryland CNC and Puretone Audiometric tests for 3–6 veterans per day on average.
Review patients’ medical records and interview patients as necessary.
Complete the Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the VA computer portal.
Do not prescribe medical treatments or devices.
Requirements
Au.D. from an ASHA accredited school.
Current license as an Audiologist.
Meet VA credentialing requirements.
