Position Overview

Outside Sales Representative in Coppell, TX with responsibility for new construction sales in the commercial construction sector, specializing in commercial sectional and rolling door products, loading dock equipment, and high‑speed doors. The role involves introducing commercial customers in the Dallas/Coppell area to our products and services.

Responsibilities

Establish and foster long‑term relationships with general contractors in Dallas/Coppell and surrounding areas.

Meet with decision makers to engineer door solutions for customers’ facilities.

Develop scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial call to closing the sale; proficient with Windows‑based programs and sales tools, ideally with experience reading blueprints/plans.

Achieve sales objectives set by management, track and record sales leads and activities, and actively participate in sales meetings.

Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals.

Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience calling on general contractors, distribution, and industrial markets.

A strong aptitude for technical applications and/or mechanical systems.

Valid driver’s license.

Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.

Ability to read and understand blueprints; prior estimating experience generating proposals and submittals is a plus, but not required if the capability to learn the process exists.
