We're looking for a
Payroll Tax Analyst
to manage multi-state, federal, and local payroll tax compliance across our large, in-house payroll operation. What You’ll Do
Prepare and file payroll tax returns; manage payments and resolve tax notices
Reconcile liability accounts and support quarterly and annual tax filings (W-2s, 941s, 1042s)
Research and apply payroll tax laws across multiple jurisdictions
Ensure accurate garnishment, levy processing, and non-resident tax compliance
Partner with internal teams on audits, compliance, and system updates
Develop and refine payroll tax policies, procedures, and documentation
What You Bring
Associate's degree required (Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred)
4 to 6 years of payroll experience with multi-state and federal tax filings
Strong knowledge of FLSA, tax laws, garnishment regulations, and payroll systems
Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and deadline accountability
Experience with Banner ERP is a plus
