Global Functions Recruiting Specialist @ Circle K | Talent Acquisition The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating the acquisition of operating gas stations/c‑stores, ensuring strategic alignment with our company’s growth objectives. This includes preparing Market Development Plans, segmenting markets, and targeting parcels for new and competitive stores.

Responsibilities

Prepare Market Development Plans by segmenting markets into smaller trade areas; identify growth plans including targeting parcels for new stores and competitive stores to acquire.

Provide data and guidance for financial analysts to run financial models in coordination with operations, finance, fuels management, and construction management to qualify new sites for lease or purchase.

Negotiate purchase contracts with sellers and lease agreements with landlords.

Prepare real‑estate proposals and contracts for management approval.

Support the Real Estate Coordinator by organizing real‑estate market tours, compiling site ride material and market summaries for bulk acquisition projects and new‑to‑industry projects.

Assist the Real Estate Director in overseeing due diligence, entitlement activity, government applications, escrow closings, and public hearings; coordinate with architects, engineers, attorneys, and other consultants.

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and internal requirements.

Plan and execute integration of acquired gas stations into the corporate structure, working closely with operations, property management, facilities, legal, and finance.

Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).

1–3 years’ experience in general commercial brokerage, development, finance, or corporate real‑estate management with emphasis in the commercial/retail/fuel/fast‑food/C‑store industries.

Demonstrated ability to purchase and develop retail locations.

Working knowledge of broker networks and market valuations for real property and leasehold investments.

Strong team orientation and excellent interpersonal skills; able to work in a busy environment with changing priorities and deadlines.

Self‑motivated, self‑directed with strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (required); proficiency in PowerPoint, mapping, and demographic software (desirable).

Driver’s license and a good driving record.

Previous experience in gasoline retail management (desirable).

Willingness to travel primarily within the assigned region, including some overnight travel (approximately 50% of travel).

Compensation Base salary of $90,000–$100,000 with bonus potential.
