Senior Electronics Technician
Senior Electronic Technician needed for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Santa Clara, California.
Pay Rate:
$50 to $60 per hour

Responsibilities
Hands‑on experience in electrical validation and troubleshooting, and a passion for precision and quality.
Must have background in electrical test and validation, either in a MFG test group, RMA product diagnostics/repair team, or supporting an ENG design team.
Operate oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other test equipment independently.
Ability to solder/desolder/rework SMT PCBs of current technology sizes.
General low voltage electrical knowledge 0‑24V.
General electro‑mechanical assembly/disassembly understanding and ESD mitigation.
Can make electrical cables from sketches.
Highly detail oriented, need careful and disciplined execution of tasks with a lot of steps.
Understands various board level communication standards such as SPI and I2C.
Qualifications
Ability to find alternate sources of OEM components (e.g. if we cannot get capacitor PN X, they can find a comparable part more readily available).
Semiconductor equipment manufacturing background.
Minimum of seven (7) years of practical experience.
Understands various board level communication standards such as SPI and I2C.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
