About the Project Sheakley is supporting a major healthcare expansion project at the UK Cancer Center in Lexington, KY. This long-term assignment offers a stable opportunity to provide hands-on safety oversight for one of the region's leading medical facility construction projects. The selected Safety Manager will play a key role in ensuring site safety compliance, workforce protection, and continuous improvement in safety culture.
Role Overview The Safety Manager will be responsible for daily safety operations, jobsite audits, and crew engagement on the project site. This position involves active field presence, consistent communication with project leadership, and enforcing company and client safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine site inspections and verify compliance with OSHA and project-specific requirements.
Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safe work practices.
Perform audits of PTPs, hazard analyses, and other safety documentation.
Promote proactive safety culture through engagement and communication with craft personnel.
Report findings, recommend corrective actions, and track closure of safety items.
Qualifications
BCSP Certification (CHST or higher) required.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience managing safety on large construction or healthcare projects preferred.
