Base pay range
$102,900.00/yr - $135,075.00/yr This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S.–based office, but we intend to hire the best candidates from anywhere. We’re looking for a high‑energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients and vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages. Responsibilities
Develop design criteria for plumbing systems. Layout and design plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage. Develop final design documents, including specifications associated with these systems. Coordinate with other disciplines. Qualifications
Professional Engineering License. At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems. Trouve comprehensive knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing design. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to follow lead of a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely. Preferred Qualifications
