Overview
Central Pre-Admissions Management Analyst – State of Minnesota. This position is with Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) and oversees a portfolio of projects dedicated to improving the patient process through pre-admissions and admissions. The incumbent will manage interdisciplinary task forces, provide information for decision-making and long-range planning, perform audit and quality assurance, and identify opportunities for data needs and continuous improvement. Direct development, coordination, and evaluation of performance and continuous improvement efforts for Central Pre-Admissions. Coordinate project management and assignments to meet quality, strategic, and performance objectives; implement special projects. Review literature to stay current on best practices in data analytics and its relationship to strategic planning and performance improvement. Conduct mapping and Lean Six Sigma analysis related to highly complex organizational processes and KPIs. Coach others on related principles to support effective project implementation. Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of qualitative and quantitative analysis experience in a healthcare setting, including the ability to provide data sets to decision-makers, evaluate program results, and create timely analyses and visualizations. Project management experience to organize projects and advocate for resources for successful completion. Ability to coordinate with staff and maintain effective partnerships; experience in process and performance improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, etc. Strategy creation, implementation, data integration, and results retrospection to oversee design, implementation, and evaluation of tools, initiatives, and department functions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience aggregating data from multiple sources to track projects and activities. EMR knowledge and ability to communicate EMR/IT improvement needs. Ability to present analytical methods and data interpretations before departmental committees and other forums. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in public health, science, health informatics, data or computer science, statistics, or related field. Lean Six Sigma certification (green or black belt). Experience in a behavioral healthcare system and in developing reporting and analytical databases. Ability to develop policies, procedures, and data systems; ability to build relationships with medical practitioners and senior leadership. Commitment to cultural responsiveness and experience working with diverse backgrounds. Additional Requirements
