Overview Electrical Engineering I – Entry Level Graduate position at Syska Hennessy Group. The role supports engineering teams on MEP, electrical, and architectural projects worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

Create basic designs under the direction of senior engineer or senior designer.

Learn drawing organization and company standards.

Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.

Coordinate with designs of other trades (architectural, engineering/internal, external) under guidance of senior technical staff.

Support design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.

Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments.

Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits.

Participate in the Engineering Development Program (EDT) training sessions and support activities.

Attend technical and professional development seminars.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, graduating Winter 2025, Spring or Summer 2026.

Prior engineering internship (preferred).

Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.

Proficiency in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

FE or EIT preferred.

The salary range for this position is $49,476 – $74,328 USD in California.
