General Position Summary

Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.

Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.

Provide consistent, documented appraisal of associate sales performance, giving feedback on strengths and opportunities aligned with company objectives.

Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.

Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the company dress code policy.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities Generate Sales

Produce sales gains by providing customer service.

Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.

Provide consistent, documented appraisal of associate sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities aligned with company objectives.

Adhere to visual guidelines, including merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.

Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the dress code policy.

Control Expenses

Protect company assets within the guidelines of LIDS retail policies.

Assist in preparing store schedules that provide proper coverage and adhere to wage control guidelines.

Accurately manage inventory, including receiving, transferring, completing price changes, and conducting product counts.

Perform proper documentation and record‑keeping per LIDS retail policies and applicable laws.

Open and close the store according to procedures in the Operations P&P Manual.

Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Supervise Associates

Participate in LIDS training programs, setting sales and task goals and conducting regular follow‑ups.

Recruit and train store personnel on proper operations and procedures.

Encourage compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property.

Perform work of subordinates as needed.

Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of related experience.

Proven ability to generate sales results while minimizing loss.

Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.

Computer literacy and proficiency with related software programs.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb a ladder, working with hands overhead.

Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.

Work effectively without supervision.

Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation varies by skill, experience, and location. Assistant Store Mangers PT are also available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
