The company is currently expanding with the goal of becoming the largest licensed brick-and-mortar sports retailer across the globe. General Position Summary
Produce sales gains, by providing customer service. To meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics. Learn to provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance. Provide support by giving feedback on areas of strength and opportunity while keeping in line with Company Objectives. Adhere to current visual guidelines including proper merchandising, signage and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Company Dress Code Policy. Responsibilities and Duties
Generate sales by providing excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding Company Objectives in individual statistics. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance and give feedback aligned with Company Objectives. Adhere to visual guidelines: proper merchandising, signage and store cleanliness; maintain professional appearance per Dress Code Policy. Protect Company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies. Assist in preparation of store schedules to ensure proper store coverage and wage control. Manage inventory: receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts; proper documentation and record keeping per LIDS Retail policies and applicable laws. Open and close the store as required following Operations procedures. Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Supervision and People
Supervise associates; participate in LIDS Training Programs and follow set goals for sales and tasks with regular follow-up. Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper operations and procedures. Encourage compliance with policies and safekeeping of company inventory, funds and property. Perform work of subordinates as needed and communicate with employees at all levels. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss; strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Proficient with computers and related software; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead; standing for up to 100% of work time; ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Job-Related Information
Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Managers PT are also eligible for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount. Education and Reporting
