What you will do
Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and competitively held accounts to meet profit goals.
Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives.
Provide technical support to customers; identify and resolve challenges, escalating as required.
Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations.
Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology to promote long‑term business relationships.
Territory/Location information
Based in Hartford, CT and Western Massachusetts.
Territory covers approximately a 75‑mile radius.
Targeted accounts are within the institutional industries.
25% travel required.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Five years of technical sales or field sales support experience.
Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences or related field.
Experience in water treatment or specialty chemical industry.
Working knowledge of wet end chemistry, pulp mill operations or similar.
Annual compensation range Base pay and target incentive range: $104,500 – $156,700.
