Paraeducator Student Attendant – Sutter (QSS 9275)
Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) invites applications for the Paraeducator Student Attendant – Sutter (QSS 9275). This entry‑level position supports a special education student in accordance with the Individual Education Plan (IEP). The role requires tutoring, classroom assistance, and collaboration with teachers and families.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized instruction and support in reading, writing, and mathematics to meet IEP goals.
Assist classroom teachers with lesson planning, materials, and implementation of special education strategies.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and support behavioral and social needs.
Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
Qualifications
High‑school graduate with at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education, or ability to demonstrate reading, writing, and mathematics competence through formal assessment.
Knowledge of principles and practices of special education and instructional strategies for diverse learners.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Valid driver’s license is a plus.

Salary: $21.02–$27.84 per hour
