As a

Tax Senior Associate , you will play a key role in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, managing client engagements, and supporting the development of junior staff. You will collaborate directly with clients and managers to deliver high‑quality tax compliance and consulting services that help businesses and individuals achieve their financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

Research and analyze tax issues, identify potential planning opportunities, and provide practical recommendations.

Manage engagement timelines and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships.

Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns, providing feedback and technical guidance.

Assist in responding to IRS and state tax notices and correspondence.

Stay informed on current tax developments and communicate relevant updates to clients and team members.

Participate in internal initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement across the tax department.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; Master’s in Taxation preferred.

Active CPA license or progress toward certification strongly preferred.

3–5 years of recent public accounting experience in tax compliance and planning.

Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CCH Axcess or similar software a plus.

Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
