Digital Incident Manager (Problem Manager) – NHS Lanarkshire
Location and Working Pattern This role will be based in Digital Operations within Kirklands – NHSL Headquarters. Applicants may also be considered for similar vacancies in alternative locations.

About the Role To improve the operation of the support function within eHealth through the appropriate management of IT incidents and service requests within the NHSL organisation.
To develop and co‑ordinate incident response and management process in conjunction with eHealth service managers to improve incident performance across the department.
To develop and implement a range of departmental incident response processes including training for eHealth staff and communication material for the wider organisation.
To provide advice and support to eHealth staff and the wider organisation, in conjunction with the Problem Manager, contributing to the improvement of overall incident performance through the investigation and analysis of incident management processes, developing a cycle of continuous improvement in this area.
What we'll need you to bring The post holder will have to work with a range of IT equipment including:
Desktop and Laptop Computers
Mobile Devices
Printers
Peripheral Devices e.g. Scanners, bar code readers
The post holder, as a process leader, will have responsibility for the maintenance and daily operational performance of this complex equipment, ensuring that it’s operating effectively for all staff.
Use a PC with advanced keyboard skills and a printer as part of daily duties.
Have knowledge of IT hardware in respect to desktop PCs, printers, and server equipment.
Use a mobile phone.
Be knowledgeable of basic electrical safety rules.
Driving licence: Full UK/EU/EEA licence is required.
