Job Title: Tax Associate - Onsite
Intuit is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a dedicated TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Associate. This seasonal role will be based in one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States and will involve both in‑person and virtual customer service to help clients navigate their tax needs.
About the Role In this role you will work on‑site from a TurboTax location, serving customers in person and via Intuit TurboTax products. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. Your ability to understand each customer’s unique situation, connect with them personally, and alleviate tax stress is essential.
This position is nonexempt, seasonal, and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States.
What You’ll Do
Provide Tax Expertise – Deliver hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deduction optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future tax‑planning advice.
Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – Cultivate a robust customer base by engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long‑term clients. Organize local events and promote community engagement.
Educate and Communicate Confidently – Represent TurboTax in the local community, host learning events, participate in local marketing efforts, and demystify taxes for clients.
Build Relationships – Build trust and long‑term relationships with clients through empathy and attentive service.
Deliver a Best‑in‑Class Customer Experience – Interact with customers in‑person and via video tools, address tax‑related challenges, and help clients achieve financial goals.

Who You Are
Hold an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law.
Have minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software.
Familiar with Circular 230.
Will be available to work a static weekly schedule of at least 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location.
Interested in building a local and online social presence and creating accessible tax content.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing is desirable.

Compensation Expected base pay range varies by location. For example: Bay Area California $23.70‑$28.00; Southern California $23.70‑$28.00; Colorado $22.60‑$26.70; Hawaii $23.70‑$28.00; Illinois $22.60‑$26.70; Maryland $22.60‑$26.70; Massachusetts $23.70‑$28.00; Minnesota $20.20‑$23.90; New Jersey $23.70‑$28.00; New York $23.70‑$28.00; Ohio $20.20‑$23.90; Vermont $22.60‑$26.70; Washington $23.70‑$28.00; Washington DC $22.60‑$26.70.
